Zurab Topuridze is our kind of winemaker: believing in minimal intervention, organic farming and only using indigenous grape varieties, he is getting back to the basics of wine. The family’s aim is to maintain the authentic tradition of qvevri winemaking in Georgia, producing unique natural wines to be enjoyed with friends & family. Golden Blend 2022 is made from a mix of the spicy Rkatsiteli, floral Khikhvi and aromatic Mtsvane. Aged for 7 months in qvevri, it is everything an authentic Georgian wine should be: bursting with fresh citrussy orange peel, honey, lychee, pineapple and stone; the medium-bodied palate is soft and well-rounded leading to a warming finish. A really versatile food wine but best with poultry.
